What exactly will my child learn from StartSmart’s programs?
Our students learn how to create their own startup from the ground up. Our programs include modules on the entrepreneurial mindset, market research, how to find mentors, and receiving funding. For a detailed run-down of our programs, check out our Programs page!
How is StartSmart different from other entrepreneurial programs?
StartSmart caters specifically to younger, underrepresented entrepreneurs. Our programs are designed to be immersive, interesting, and accessible to all.
Who created your programs?
StartSmart’s programs are created by successful entrepreneurs, industry professionals, business students, and UC Irvine professors. Check out our About page if you’re interested in learning more about our team!
How much time will it take for my child to complete your programs?
Our pilot program is a two week long program. Our other programs are designed to take a couple of weeks to a month to complete.
Can my child complete the program on their own time?
Our pilot program has meetings on a schedule (3 times a week, with optional weekend seminars and office hours). We highly recommend having your child attend sessions at their scheduled start times – but don’t worry if they can’t! We record our sessions so your child will be able to view them afterwards.
How much do your programs cost?
Our 2-week pilot program is completely free! Pricing plans for our other programs will be available soon.
What will SmartSmart’s programs teach me?
Our programs are designed to teach young entrepreneurs at any stage of your journey. Whether you have little to no entrepreneurial experience, the fundamentals of entrepreneurship and creating your own business. For a detailed overview of our programs, check out our Programs page!
